Humble and self-effacing, 59-year-old Dr. Kumar has an enviable and blazing academic and professional track record- an M.A.(History); M.A.(Sociology); M. Philosophy; Ph.D in Journalism; BL(Law) and P. G.Diploma in Public Relations. Multi-linguist Dr. Kumar is fluent in English, Hindi, Telugu and Sanskrit and has travelled widely to all the countries of European Union, Singapore, Malaysia, and parts of USA; and is the recipient of prestigious Awards and Honors.

He has edited over 30 books, written over 800 articles and essays on education related subjects, leadership, health topics, current affairs etc. The prolific author has already published 30 books on personality development and empowerment topics ranging from Life Enlightenment, Lifetime Success, and Lessons to Success, contentment, various competitive examinations Guidance books as well as Shirdi Sai Books- a planned series of 108 books. The unique project was implemented in 2008 with Sai Balasiksha (for children), Saisudha Amrutham (Nectar of Teachings), Sai Vikasa Tarangini (Rhythms of Teachings) and Shirdi Sai Album, to name a few. Sai Vikasa Tarangini, in English, is aimed for regular and easy recitation by children and adults alike. The book, in attractive color print, has 365 episodes of Sri Sai’s profound teachings and core values which can lead a devotee to self-realization.

The Lord Shirdi Sai Album by Dr. Kumar and Rajeswari Annavarapu is a sumptuous 19” x 13” and 206 pages Album with breathtaking photographs of majestic marble deity of Lord Shirdi Sai Baba, crowned and garlanded and sitting on an ornate golden seat in a calm, blissful repose, with a gentle smile on his lips and love radiating all around from his entire being. The first edition of this captivating album, in both Telugu and English (P. N. S. Datta Sarma) has been published by Vidya Graphics Pvt. Ltd. in October 2010.The album has wealth of information and nuggets of Sri Sai Baba’s time-tested wisdom. It has information on Shirdi village-a place of faith, where Sri Sai Baba lived and delivered his universal slogan of “Shradda Saboori” (Faith, Patience) and Saibaba Samadhi Temple, prior to installation of the idol of Sri Sai Baba; rare historic pictures of Shirdi village during Sai Baba’s time, the neem tree under which he sat and prayed; and pictures of Sai Baba’s personal belongings. All this makes it a worthy album to acquire and treasure. It would also make a priceless gift.

Here is one of the tender, touching and reassuring sayings of Sai Baba: “Connect my vision to your eyes, Embrace your mind with my heart, Combine your voice with mine, Then my name you recite is heard as your heart beat, The prayer begins in two voices, ends in one, The beating of two hearts responds in the same way, The feeling of ‘you’ and ‘I’ is destroyed and ‘We’ are united.”
