International Awards:

1. The Best Human Service Award – 2012 NATA

NATA is an international organization established by prominent Telugu people living in North America. Renowned professors, scholars and businessmen are members of the organization. It provides financial assistance to persons of Telugu origin living in various countries in the world & also to the poor people in USA besides promoting community services, cultural and social activities, student assistance, and preservation and promotion of Telugu language and heritage in the United States, and in various countries across the globe.

The organization honors 18 eminent Telugu people living in different countries once in every two years. Dr Kumar P.V.H.N Annavarapu Ph.D is honored with The Best Human Service Award – 2012 on 1st July 2012 which is an international award given to eminent persons in recognition of their services by North American Telugu Association (NATA) at Houston, Texas, USA

Dr Kumar P.V.H.N Annavarapu Ph.D is a multifaceted personality who has contributed a lot to the society as an academician, journalist, author, educator, publisher, researcher, and philosopher. He has authored several books and published hundreds of editorials, write-ups, essays in the fields of education, philosophy, social aspects of life and on teachings of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba, India towards having good human relationships, improving moral values in the society, mutual respect and spread the message of oneness among all the people in recognition of his contribution towards the betterment of mankind the Best Human Service Award has been conferred on him.

2. The Best Literature Award- 2011-Telugu Association of North America- TANA.

TANA is the oldest and biggest Indo- American international organization established in the year 1977 by renowned Telugu people living in North America . It provides financial Aid of more than one million dollars every year to persons of Telugu origin living in different countries to promote Telugu language and its heritage in the United States and in Andhra Pradesh by conducting community services, cultural activities, social activities, giving scholarships to meritorious students and medical assistance to the needy persons.

World famous scholars, businessmen, entrepreneurs and philanthropists are members of the organization. Famous and eminent personalities from among crores of Telugu people spread worldwide are presented with Awards for outstanding performance in their profession and contribution to the society once in every two years.

In the 18th TANA Conference held at Santa Clara International Convention Centre, California on 1st July 2011, The Best Literature Award- 2011 has been presented to Dr Kumar PVHN Annavarapu for excellence in multiple fields and contribution in enriching the Telugu literature and spreading the spirit of oneness and integration among all people for peaceful coexistence.

Dr Kumar P.V.H.N Annavarapu Ph.D is a journalist, Editor, author and publisher, researcher. He has done PhD (Doctor of Philosophy in History), M.Phil (Master of Philosophy, PGDPR (Public Relations) and has 27 Years’ Experience in the field of Public Relations, Human Resources, Articles Writing and Columns Writing . He has authored 149 books and published hundreds of editorials, write-ups, essays in the fields of personality development, career guidance, education, youth development, Philosophy etc.

3. Georgia State Best Literature Award -2011 by TAMA

Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) is an association formed in 1981 by eminent telugu people of Metro Atlanta. TAMA organizes events to celebrate major festivals, literary and cultural events like 'Sahiti Sadassu' (literary meet), musical nights, Ganesh Pooja etc and facilitates renowned people on important occasions. It is working for Socio, Cultural and Economic development of Telugu People not only in USA but also for the Telugu community spread all over the world.

In the 30th Annual day Celebrations held on 9th July 2011 at Georgia International Convention Center, Atlanta, Dr.Kumar PVHN Annavarapu a renowned person of Telugu literature was honored with Georgia State Best Literature Award for his Rachanalu/ literary works and outstanding contribution to Literature.

Dr.Kumar PVHN Annavarapu has written several books /editorials /essays and is instrumental in the establishment of fortnightly magazine, VIDYA at Hyderabad and served as a Chief Editor which has established readership of about 4.5 Lakh (Four lakhs fifty thousand) in Andhra Pradesh, India to reach to youth in achieving their goals in their respective professions is commendable. He has an unsaturated quest for knowledge, innovation, creativity on socio-economic and cultural development of the people and his literary works are exemplary .

Telugu is a Dravidian language mainly spoken by the people of Andhra since mediveal times about 200 B.C. It is the third most spoken language in the Indian sub-continent.. It is described as the Italian of the east . Telugu people have occupied prominent positions in the history of the India and world & as well in present times. It has rich cultural heritage such as dance forms like Kuchipudi and handicrafts of Etikoppaka , Kondapalli toys have emanated from this land.

4. Excellence Award and Best Writer Award -2011 - From Telugu Canada Foundation:

Telugu Canada Foundation is a Worldwide Voluntary and Cultural Organization founded by the Telugu people residing in Canada. The Telugu Canada Foundation invites selected telugu stalwarts from various fields once in every two years from around the world to honour them and give prestigious awards in recognition to their services.

The Telugu Canada Foundation selected Dr. Kumar PVHN Annavarapu, from Print Media Category for this prestigious award and the award was conferred on Dr. Kumar in a function organized at Toronto, Canada during the year 2011,.

Dr. Kumar PVHN Annavarapu has authored more than 250 books and published hundreds of editorials, write-ups, essays in the fields of education , research, Philosophy and on the life and teachings of Sri Shirdi Sai baba. He is a member of American Asian Journalist Association, San Fransisco, USA, Member of All India Newspapers Editors Association, New Delhi, Member of World Association of Newspapers and other bodies. His determination, persistence, dedication, sincerity, hard work coupled with humbleness and simplicity in the development of the telugu language and activities in various fields have made him to receive this prestigious international award .

Telugu is a dravidian language mainly spoken by the people of living in Trilingadeshsa i.e within the area of the three famous shrines of Draksharamam (East Godavari district), Kaleswaram (Karimnagar district) and Srisailam (Kurnool district) of Andhra Pradesh. It is also the official language of Yanam District in Pondicherry. Telugu is also spoken in Karnataka, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Chattisgarh states of India and in different countries .

5. Best Writer Award – 2009 From Madras Telugu Academy, India

The Madras Telugu Academy is functioning with the assistance of Government of Tamil Nadu , India aimed at national & cultural integration and spreading the message of harmony & unity through different mediums . The Academy is conferring awards every year to eminent personalities who rendered notable work in various fields . Sri. K. Rosaiah garu a prominent telugu personality is presently the Governor of Tamil Nadu.

The Madras Telugu Academy had conferred this prestigious award to Dr. Kumar PVHN Annavarapu Ph.D in the year 2009. He has enormously contributed to literature and written inspiring books/articles to follow the path of righteousness, growth of national & cultural integration and spreading the message of oneness and brotherhood.

Dr Kumar P.V.H.N Annavarapu is serving the telugu people as an academician, journalist, author, educator, publisher, researcher, and philosopher in India and abroad. He has several academic honors to his credit and has 27 Years’ Experience in the field of Public Relations, Human Resources, Articles in several news journals, authored 149 books on the life and teachings of Sri Shirdi Sai baba, India, Books on Sri Venkateshwara Swamy of Tirupathi and in tie up with State Board of Technical Education for polytechnic students ,‘Vijetha’ for unemployed youth through Department of Youth Services and written hundreds of editorials, write-ups, essays in the fields of education , research, Philosophy , Social and Cultural development .

It is influenced by Prakrith, Sanskrit, Persian, Arabic Urdu and English in the course of time .

6. Vishal Bharathi Award 2007 From Delhi Telugu Academy, India.

Delhi Telugu Academy was a founded in the year 1990 with an objective to preserve and propagate Telugu Culture in Delhi in particular and Indian Culture in general in the world. It strives to unite all Telugus of the world by organizing several programmes, it acts as a cultural bridge between the Center and the State.

Senior Indian Administrative Officers of Government of India will be heading the organization . Senior IAS Officer of Central Government Sri. Mohan Kanda IAS is the Chairman of the Academy and Sri. P.L Sanjeev Reddy IAS is the Jury Chairman of Delhi Telugu Academy and Sri K. S Sharma IAS is the Jury Chairman for Hyderabad unit. Indian Administrative Service Officers hold key positions in the Union Government, State governments and Public Sector Undertakings in India . The officers carry high respect and stature in the society coupled with the significant task of administering public offices.

Delhi Telugu Academy bestows National Awards to accomplished creative personalities engaged in the multidimensional disciplines pertaining to social service, fine arts and culture and VISHAL BHARATI AWARDS have attracted global attention with NRIs from UK, USA, Australia etc., receiving them in person.

7. Excellence in Journalism Award 2005 by Ananda Lahari Dasabdhi Utsav

Ananda Lahari Dasabdhi Utsav is a program sponsored by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. This is a programme conducted once in every 10 years to honour 9 eminent persons in different fields .Andhra Pradesh state has a population of 8.46 crores of which nearly 40% comprise youth . The Government of Andhra Pradesh takes up several welfare schemes for the welfare of people such as conducting social and cultural events, promotion of Telugu language,cultural heritage,economic, social and cultural development & national integration.

During the year 2005 to celebrate the Cultural festivals in a Decade and promote Telugu Culture and tradition, a Committee was formed with the renowned personalities from various fields to commemorate Ananda Lahari Dasabdhi Utsav event. Dr. Kumar PVHN Annavarapu has been presented with prestigious award of Excellence in Journalism Award by the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr. Y.S.Rajashekar Reddy in the year 2005,

It bestows National Awards to accomplished creative personalities engaged in the multidimensional disciplines pertaining to social service, fine arts and culture. Senior Indian Administrative Officers of Government of India who hold prominent positions in the country will be heading the organization. Senior IAS Officers of Central Government Sri. 9. Eminent Research Scholar –1990 - Award from Sri Krishna Devaraya University

Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Anantapur, is one of the Prestigious Universities in Andhra Pradesh India is was established in the year 1968. It offers 38 Post Graduation courses in various disciplines throughout the State.112 Colleges are affiliated to it.

Kumar PVHN Annavarapu completed his Doctorate from this University during the academic year 1989-90. His determination, persistence, dedication, sincerity, and hard work coupled with humbleness and simplicity is a role model.
